What makes your cakes unique?

Our cakes, cupcakes, and cookies are baked fresh on the premises using high-quality ingredients. Each cake is designed with your personality and vision
in mind, making it truly one-of-a-kind.

For wedding cakes, we also include a certificate for a fresh anniversary cake to be enjoyed on your first anniversary.

What cake and cupcake flavors do you offer?

In addition to a few classic cake flavors, such as
vanilla bean, yellow, white almond, triple chocolate, red velvet, and cookies and cream, we also feature specialty flavors of the month. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram
@thecraftycakerynj to find out what flavors are being featured! Don’t see your favorite flavor on the menu? No worries! Just ask and we will make it happen!

Do you deliver?

We currently do not offer delivery; however, we will be offering it in the future.

Do you require a deposit when ordering a custom cake?

Once we have approved the date of your event, you can place a non-refundable 50% deposit either online or visiting the store when
you order. The remaining 50% will be due two weeks before your event.

How far in advance should I book my cake?

Wedding cakes should be booked at least six months in advance of your big day, but they can be booked up to one year ahead. Large event cakes should be booked at least 3 months ahead. All other cakes should be booked at least 2
weeks to one month ahead.

Do you offer cake tastings and consultations?

We offer complimentary consultations for any event. If you would also like a cake tasting, we charge a $25 fee that would be deducted from the final price of your cake.

How should I prepare for a cake tasting and consultation?

Cake tastings and consultations for weddings and large events last about one hour. You will meet with Christina and Lisa to bring your dream cake to life. Please bring any pictures of cakes that you love, color swatches, your
invitation, number of guests, and anything else you have for inspiration.

What do you serve at your cake tastings?

After settling on an agreed upon design for your
cake, you will sample various flavors of cake, frosting, and filling.

What are your prices?

Our cakes are thoughtfully designed for your special event and are
individually priced. Our buttercream cakes start at $5 per serving, and our fondant cakes start
at $6 per serving. The final price depends on the intricacy of the design as well as cake flavor
and fillings. We approach each cake as a work of art. The more time and detail involved, such as sculpted cakes, intricate piping, gum paste flowers, etc., the greater the cost per slice.
We also include a custom cake topper with your order. If you would like a different cake topper than the one that is offered, you can upgrade for an additional fee or supply your own.

How many workshops do you offer a month?

Currently, we offer between 4 to 6 workshops a month that take place after business hours. You can find the available workshops for the month on our Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as on our website under the Workshops tab.

What types of workshops do you host?

We host a variety of cake/cookie decorating and
crafting workshops. We are inspired by so many different projects and mediums, including the
latest trends. Don’t be afraid to try something new. All skill levels are welcome, and we ensure you will walk out with a project that makes you proud. Each workshop includes a special treat
made by Christina.

How much are your workshops?

Workshops start at $35 per person and vary in price,
depending on the duration of time it takes to complete and the materials used.

What is the difference between daily DIY projects and workshops?

Daily DIY projects are self-guided projects geared toward crafters who want to come in during our business hours and pick
from one of our featured monthly crafts. You can take a seat at one of our large craft tables and
use our craft bar to make your project unique.

Workshops are special events that typically take place after our business hours and include
detailed instruction by a member of our staff. You can reserve your seat in advance through our
website under the Workshops tab.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

If you attend a workshop that requires the use of certain tools, yes,
you will need to sign a waiver. At this time, the waivers will be available when you arrive for the
workshop. In the future, you will be able to sign online at the time of reserving your seat.

What is your cancellation policy for workshops?

We understand that things come up and you may not be able to make your reserved workshop. A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to receive an in-studio monetary credit equal to the value of the workshop. No credit or refund will be offered for cancellations less than 72 hours prior to the workshop.
